Shimano Stella technology such as the Infinity Drive and Heat Sink drag in the larger 10000 and 14000 models. The Infinity Drive optimizes torque and delivers a smooth/light rotation while hooked up. The Heat Sink on larger models dissipates heat away from the drag system ensuring drag stability. Improved drive trains ensure a smooth fight. The addition of the 6000 size also fulfills the requests of many anglers, being one of the more popular reel sizes for inshore and lighter offshores alike.
